Project of Public Private Partnership

This thesis is about the problems of PPP projects. These are the projects, whose realization is based on the partnership of the private and public sector. This way brings new possibilities how is building and management of public infrastructure more effective. In theoretical part the basic information concerning the problems of PPP projects is described, its advantages and disadvantages, basic characters and principles. In this thesis is described actual state of PPP projects in the Czech Republic. In practical part the thesis is about specific concession project, whose realization is considered. It is the project of construction and operation of cableway to Spilberk Castle. Within this part at first the entrance data for financial models have been found, after that the financial models have been count and the analysis of sensitivity has been finished. In conclusion the evaluation of project has been done and there was the recommendation how to realize the project.

This doctoral thesis focuses on modelling as an efficient tool in industrial practice in the field of power industry and environmental engineering. It represents the modelling for technical as well as for economic part and their combination. Industrial companies do not evaluate only technical solutions in terms of investment costs, however, they search for optimized technical-economic solutions. The doctoral thesis describes the modelling of individual equipment as well as technological units in various levels of complexity. Case studies utilising various levels of modelling are represented herein.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the current situation of the law office and to select the most appropriate approach to the implementation of acquisitions from the perspective of individual options. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. Within the theoretical part we present important professional information from the investment environment, specifically dealing with approaches to investing, the investment process, financing options, the theory of investment evaluation and other aspects. In the second part, i.e. the practical part, we focus on the actual introduction of the selected law office, the calculation of its financial health, the presentation of individual acquisition options, the calculation of individual financial ratios and we also deal with the substantiation of these results through professional trends within the legal field. All calculations are based on successive calculations of statistics drawing on the data of the selected law office and subsequent adherence to industry trends. In the conclusion of the thesis, recommendations for the implementation of a specific investment opportunity are presented, as well as the results and opinions of the author.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the profitability of two compared industrial properties, which will be leased during the 10 years and afterwards will be sold. The first part of the work is a literature search, which focuses on the industrial real estate market and the specifics associated with building a financial model. In the second part, leaseback and development investments will be compared using a financial model and internal rate of return analysis. Finally, the results will be evaluated and appropriate recommendations will be formulated for future investors in industrial real estate.
Business practices behind running a restaurant

This bachelor thesis aims to investigate and map the business practices behind running a typical successful restaurant and to build a financial model based on the findings. Then it verifies whether the model would remain profitable assuming all the business practices are in line with the law and it is investigated how would the initial conditions have to change in order to maintain the original profitability, still being in line with the law at the same time. The theoretical part describes how is the profit and loss model built and mentions the law relevant to the financial aspects of running a restaurant. Finaly a few short suggestions how to improve profitability is formed.

The aim of this work is to set up management of the building contract from the financial management of subcontracts with influence on the overall management of construction enterprise. The output of this work is a model that will point to the financial management of construction contracts regard to the management of construction enterprise.
